Photo FAQs
What should I wear?
I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules here. But I do tell people to wear what you are comfortable in or at least something that makes you feel good. I would take into account your coloring (hair color, skin tone) and the color of the background whether that is trees, a studio backdrop or an office setting. You get the picture. I’m happy to help with these details.
Where should we shoot?
We are telling your story so it makes sense to shoot where that story lives. Alternatively, there might be more than one location or it might be more about who or what is in the shot and less about where.
Can I bring my friend, spouse, child, dog, etc?
I think it helps to have a support system at photo shoots. No matter how good you are at selfies, sometimes a photo shoot brings another level of stress. I’m always happy to put friends, family members and pets to work to help you be you.
What is the cost?
I would love to put a number out there, I know that would make it easier yet the work varies for each project. I base my fees on the project as a whole, taking into account: time, transportation (is there travel involved), number of subjects, creative volume, stills &/or video, also where & how the photos and video will end up being displayed.
